Connecting the Rane SL 1

Here are the step by step instructions for Connecting the Rane SL 1 to a regular two channel DJ mixer.

1. Connect the RCA cables of the left turntable (or CD player) to the left deck inputon the SL 1.
2. Connect the RCA cables of the right turntable (or CD player) to the right deck input on the SL 1
3. Connect the turntable ground wires to the SL 1 grounding posts.
4. Set the dip switches to the correct level – up for phono (turntables), and down for line (CD players).
5. Plug the SL 1 left deck output into the left line input on the mixer.
6. Plug the SL 1 right deck output into the right line input on the mixer.
7. Connect the USB cable.
